Onsite Disaster Recovery, Backup Strategy - For Improving Business Continuity, Data Storage Online Makes Sense |
what makes us better than the competition?
Our solution provides you with
an Onsite Storage Appliance and Secure Online Offsite Storage, giving you
super fast server restores as well as added offsite redundancy. You have
three secure copies of your backup, one at your location on your CSS
Appliance and two copies offsite, on our CSS servers. This is one of the
services that differentiate us from other online backup
companies. By having one of our backup appliances onsite and making it part of your disaster recovery plan, you're one step further in ensuring business continuity in the event of a disaster.
Our solution allows you to do server restores
in hours because your system state information is saved and you are
restoring locally from your CSS appliance. In most cases restoring more
than 20 gb of information over the internet is not a viable solution with
DSL service. In the case of a onsite appliance failure we restore your
encrypted data to a drive and deliver it to you within 4 hours within the
GTA and outside this region as fast as possible.
Your data is securely encrypted (AES 128 bit)
remotely on CSS servers.
AES 128 bit
Encryption is the industry standard. No data goes over the wire without
being encrypted. It would take a supercomputer up to 10 and one quarter
years to break the encryption used by our backup systems.
Individual files can be restored in
seconds.
Online access to your backup
sets allows you to do restores from anywhere internet access is available.
Single file restores can be done in as little time as it would take to
download a file of the same size.
You can do file restores to previous versions of
any file for up to one year.
Deleted
files can also be restored for up to one year after they have been
deleted.
You can centrally backup and manage multiple
locations and multiple servers.
One
agent can control many different back-up sets on different servers within
your network. The control agent will monitor and report all backup sets
from one location.
You receive a daily automatic email verification
of your successful back up.
All backup
sets are verified and reported to you daily via email. With just a quick
glance you can make sure your backups are being done properly. If any
errors have occurred, the report will give you all of the pertinent
details so you can quickly and effectively deal with the problem. With our
help, or on your own, any problems will be reported and repaired quickly
and effectively.
Our solution eliminates all backup hardware,
media, and software costs.
Everything
you need is included with our backup services including your onsite
storage device. No more tapes, no more hardware purchases, no more
software purchases, license fees, and no more offsite tape storage costs.
No more hassle.
Our solution eliminates failures typically
associated with human error, system errors & device
failures.
Oops, I forgot to put in
Tuesdays tape! Never again will you hear those words. Once installed and
setup our system is maintenance free. All you need to do is check your
email for current backup status. All files are verified for integrity
prior to being saved on our servers. No corrupted files, no maintenance,
no worries.
Our service mitigates the risks associated with
viruses, non compliance of SOX, GLBA, PIPEDA, data corruption and
accidental data deletion.
Companies are
increasingly being legislated to secure and safeguard information in their
possession. Our data storage online service is safe and secure.
We provide archival storage
services which means you only backup to disk the information you really
need to be productive as an organisation. All static data can be
catalogued and archived to any type of storage media. You choose the one
that best suites your organisation. We will archive and send your data to
you in that format. (see archival storage TCO)
We
recommend UDO Optical Media storage which has a storage life of 50 years
and is one of the lowest cost storage mediums.
